PA66 has long been the workhorse of underhood automotive and hot-side industrial design — but not all PA66 GF30 grades survive real-world 180°C+ environments. Storage & Shelf Life

  • Store in original sealed aluminum-moisture-barrier bags below 30°C and below 65% RH (PA66 is significantly more hygroscopic than PA6 in the same ambient).
  • Keep away from direct sunlight, steam pipes and any source of ambient moisture.
  • Shelf life under sealed proper conditions: 18 months from manufacturing date printed on bag label. After 18 months re-test MVR and moisture before use.
  • Once a bag is opened, process within 72 hours or re-seal with desiccant and re-dry before next production run.

Yes. PA66-FR25 (25% GF, halogen-free flame retardant PA66) is formulated to pass UL94 V-0 at 0.8 mm minimum wall thickness on standard test bars with no drips. We supply an in-house UL94 test report and photos free with your initial sample request. Our parent-line UL file (UL Yellow Card) is in progress and scheduled for Q4 2026 issuance — interim third-party lab reports (SGS / CTI) are available now and accepted by most Tier-2 and consumer-electronics OEMs for program qualification.
