Storage & Shelf Life (All Formulations)

  • Store in original sealed bags below 35°C and below 70% relative humidity. PA6 and PA66 formulations are hygroscopic and will re-absorb ambient moisture if bag is opened and left unsealed.
  • Keep away from direct sunlight, sources of heat or open flame. HFFR intumescent formulations in particular should not be stored near heat sources above 50°C for extended periods.
  • Shelf life under proper conditions: 24 months from manufacturing date printed on bag label for standard formulations; 18 months for HFFR intumescent formulations and CNT conductive formulations (additive activity retention).
  • Once opened, use contents within 4 weeks or re-seal with desiccant bags and apply heat seal. Color-masterbatch formulations stored open beyond 6 weeks may show surface bloom on pellets.

All three families are manufactured in-house with our own formulation and extrusion lines. This program is strictly limited to the three named families above; all base polymers are prime cost-tier first-run polymer feedstock sourced directly from tier-one polymer producers under Juhai long-term supply agreements.

Standard custom sample turnaround is 5 WORKING DAYS from confirmed specification and sample PO. For complex formulations combining multiple axes (for example high GF + V0 HFFR + FDA food contact + conductive CNT), sample turnaround extends to 7-10 working days and includes a full QC dossier. The non-recurring engineering (NRE) fee is 500 USD per new formulation. This NRE fee is FULLY REFUNDED as a credit on your first production order of 5 MT or more. For customers with a written 12-month committed annual volume of 20 MT or above, the NRE fee is WAIVED entirely from day one. There is no tooling fee for formulation; only standard twin-screw compounding trial cost which is included in the NRE above.
