Storage & Shelf Life (All Formulations)
- Store in original sealed bags below 35°C and below 70% relative humidity. PA6 and PA66 formulations are hygroscopic and will re-absorb ambient moisture if bag is opened and left unsealed.
- Keep away from direct sunlight, sources of heat or open flame. HFFR intumescent formulations in particular should not be stored near heat sources above 50°C for extended periods.
- Shelf life under proper conditions: 24 months from manufacturing date printed on bag label for standard formulations; 18 months for HFFR intumescent formulations and CNT conductive formulations (additive activity retention).
- Once opened, use contents within 4 weeks or re-seal with desiccant bags and apply heat seal. Color-masterbatch formulations stored open beyond 6 weeks may show surface bloom on pellets.
